The problem for conservatives with foreign policy is not only that it’s from the last century, but also that these days when the right-wing nuts are just gearing up for a massive anti-American foreign policy stance against the President, the President has already solved whatever problem they are trying to blame him for.
Is the President “weak and indecisive”? Is Vladimir Putin a “strong” leader? Is Sarah Palin “brilliant”? Is Rudy Giuliani a cross-dresser?
Once again the conservatives in the United States of America have discovered our next conspiracy. You just can’t fool these people. They are too quick and too intelligent for any devious behavior to get past them.
We only THOUGHT they would fall for that Hillary thing. But they are just too damned good at what they do.
Now the secret plan for President Obama’s third term has been exposed. Now we’ll have to get those FEMA camps cranked up sooner than we had planned, so we and our commie brethren can ensure ‘President Barack Hussein Obama’s Coming Third Term’

I have always enjoyed great fiction; stories someone dreamed up that spark the imagination and intrigue the mind. I love stories that make you think.
There are always many ways to get your fiction. There are great books, great movies and I’ve enjoyed many of them.
What I appreciate most about great fiction is that someone had an idea, broadened it into characterization, and then plotted a story, then they dedicated themselves to a conclusion meant to entertain people who are otherwise not entertained.
All of this appreciation, however, is totally absent to me when you apply fiction to politics. There’s nothing entertaining about a lie.
That was a completely strange Tuesday night with the State of the Union Address. The sanity lasted right up to the end of the President’s speech, which was long. Yes, the President’s address was good but it was long.
The fun came with the republican responses to the State of the Union Address, which were something more than strange.
There were a total of six responses to the State of the Union Address. I know you think there weren’t that many, but I have them documented and we will account for each one.
Every time I hear someone claim yet another conspiracy about the President, or something about “them,” I try to talk sense to that person.
If I see or hear something like that—and I know it’s a bunch of bullshit—I try and tell the person who believes it that what they believe isn’t true. I consider this to be my duty as a human being.
If I have them handy, I present the facts as best I can. But my concern to try and calm an alarmed individual is usually met with the other person claiming that I am “drinking the Kool-Aid.” And I find that funny because, you see, I know what that phrase really means.
The problem is that each of us likely don’t know any smart conservatives. That’s a problem because we need them for this debate that Ann Coulter says liberals are afraid of.
But are there actually no smart conservatives, or is it we just don’t know where to look? What does a smart conservative look like? What does one sound like? The average liberal asks these questions because the average liberal doesn’t ever run into smart conservatives.
Maybe YOU think you know a smart conservative. I don’t. To be fair, I don’t get out as much as I used to, but when I DID get out a lot I didn’t run into any smart conservative then either.
We’ve all seen the meme about being a “jackass whisperer.” You shouldn’t try to talk to conservatives because you are not the “jackass whisperer.” I guess that’s like the dog whisperer or the horse whisperer.
Whatever you are having trouble with, you get somebody who knows how to talk to the dog or the horse. But is there such a thing as a “jackass whisperer”? I mean, as it relates to politics in the United States?
If you consider that someone who spouts off about politics but doesn’t know or care for the relevant facts involved—if THAT person is in all sense of the word, a “jackass”—is there someone out there who CAN whisper to that jackass before that jackass votes what they think, even though it is wrong?
